Fox’s Pizza Den, which is the full name of the chain, operates more than 245 pizzerias in almost 30 US states. Interestingly enough, all the restaurants are owned by franchisees.
Apart from pizza, the Fox’s Pizza menu focuses on salads, Strombolis (a kind of turnover stuffed with cheeses), hoagie sandwiches, and wedgies. You can indulge yourself with a so-called gourmet pizza offering delicious toppings and sauces but reducing your ability to choose and combine ingredients on your own.
While Fox’s Pizza prices are typically the same as in an average pizzeria, it offers a wider choice of pizza sizes and shapes (not less than six).
The company is headquartered in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Established in the early 1970s, is has been included in the list of the world’s Top 25 pizzeria chains more than once. However, quite a few franchisees have had to close their restaurants, supposedly because the business model didn’t allow them to compete successfully with their rivals. Because of this, SBA even stopped borrowing money to those who worked with this franchise.
