Donuts and coffee are the products making the core of the Dunkin’ Donuts menu. Apart from hot coffee and iced coffee, customers can opt for tea, hot chocolate or a frozen beverage, Coolatta, for instance, which is an iced drink served here since 1997. In addition to the famous donuts, the list of bakery products served in Dunkin’ Donuts includes muffins, bagels, cookies, and so-called munchkins – the word that is used for doughnut holes. Interestingly enough, donuts account for less than 9% of the chain’s sales, while 65% are drinks.
One of the chain’s specific features is that it introduces specific flavors depending on the season. For instance, in spring, visitors may opt for butter pecan, while the fall menu includes pumpkin or salted caramel as a flavor.
There is something to keep in mind about Dunkin’ Donuts prices: it’s better to buy a 1/2 dozen or dozen pack as they turn out to be a better value in comparison with individual donuts.
